About

The historic and beautiful Witney Blanket Hall, built in 1721 by the Blanket Weavers' Company at 100 High Street, was once the centre of the world-renowned Witney blanket-weaving trade, and the place where every blanket had to come to be weighed and inspected before sale. Today it celebrates the town's textile heritage through displays and artefacts, houses a pie shop, and offers space available for meetings and private events. The Hall is open 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Saturday, and is free to explore. Just come in!
